This
site is owned and run by Peter Oakes. I
am international solicitor (Australia,
Ireland and UK) and now a consultant specialising in
financial services, corporate governance and mediation in Europe, Middle-East
and Australia.
In
a nutshell my practise is that of a Business Strategist, Corporate
Governance Expert and Compliance Specialist. If you are a reputable
individual / firm / attorney and require assistance in the areas in which I

my main businesses, Compliance Ireland
Regulatory Services Limited and City Compliance Regulatory Services Limited. However where a project does not suit the
objects of these companies, I can be retained privately.
Non-executive directorships
In
particular I welcome discussions with reputable firms about my appointment as
an independent non-executive director of financial services and insurance
businesses in Europe, UAE, Australia/Asia, South
Africa and America.Despite my endeavours to escape advising on
financial crime and general financial/insurance regulations it seems that this
is an area that I enjoy working in, one in which my clients trust me immensely
and, having started life as regulator, then solicitor and now an international
consultant, I have an excellent understanding of.
